Мilica Janković is Assistant Professor at University of Belgrade – School of Electrical Engineering (ETF) and Head of ETF BMIT lab. She gained her PhD degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2014 at ETF under supervision of academician prof. Dejan Popović.
Her research interests are medical instrumentation design, neural engineering and medical image acquisition and analysis. As a principal investigator (PI) on behalf of ETF, she participated in the project of Innovation Fund Republic of Serbia (HUDES), Erasmus+ K2 strategic partnership (ITASDI), CEEPUS network CIII-AT-0042-15-1920 Image Processing, Information Engineering & Interdisciplinary Knowledge Exchange and one PokreniNauku project. She participated in three projects of Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, two bilateral international projects and one H2020 project (DIH-HERO).
She won many awards: BIMEF 2003, Siemens prize 2004, ETRAN 2015 and 2014, “Ilija Stojanović” Telfor 2013, BCNM 2015, second prize at International Medical Olympiad 2017.
